Curiously, four years have passed since Aitana and Lola Indigo joined I’m staying. The two artists, partners in Operation Triumph 2017, came together to sing on Spoiler, the Catalan’s debut studio album. United also by the same label, Universal Music, and having a similar audience, it was only a matter of time before they were encouraged to unite their voices.

Lola and Aitana made us sing one of the most danceable songs of this album. Plus we have to admit that we keep screaming that “But my friends call me ‘Aitana'”.

Now, four years later, we wouldn’t be surprised if the two Spanish stars, already crowned princesses of pop, collaborate again. Lola and Aitana have established themselves in the music market, crossing borders and making Latin American audiences fall in love. Why not release a second collaboration? It wouldn’t be so strange, in fact, Aitana has collaborated twice with artists like Morat or Cali y el Dandee; and Lola Indigo with RVFV.

Now, in an interview for the Público media, Lola answered if she plans to record again with Aitana. And the door is wide open!

Lola Indigo and Aitana: new collaboration?

Lola assured that if they recorded a song now, it would be totally different from Me Quedo! “If we did a new song now, it would be very different from that one. It sure wouldn’t even sound the same, because neither of them retain the same sound,” started by saying

Lola went on to explain that they had already talked about recording a new song: “We really want to do it and it deserves a second part, we already talked about it, huh? She works with some producers that I also share, Andres rounds and Mauritius Rengifo. I talked to them and told them it would be great to go to the studio in LA and do something from scratch. What happens is that we have to come together, obviously”

With these statements, we wouldn’t be surprised if the two artists surprise us with a new song soon! It would certainly be a success. Plus, the music video would be amazing. Will they finally dare to record it? We will be attentive.
