The development of dead island 2 It will go down in history for being one of the longest and most convulsive ones remembered in the video game industry. The sequel to this hit first-person action title was rebooted several times and passed through various companies until, finally, Deep Silver has won its bet with its subsidiary Dambuster Studios.
After many years of unknowns and bad news, Dead Island 2 has returned from the dead (never better said) with a new presentation in which it has been confirmed that it will go on sale at February 2023. Unfortunately the game suffered again a little late in search of the level of quality desired by its creators, and while the question seemed already settled, it has just been produced another change of plans.
Dead Island is moving its release date forward
- Dead Island 2 was scheduled for release on April 28however, the date is no longer correct
- Deep Silver revealed this afternoon that the game is already worth gold (it is already finished and ready to be distributed in stores) and that even it will come out a week before
- Thus, the launch of this new opus is now set for the next day. April 21

In Dead Island, 2 players travel to a post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles in which the walking dead abound in the streets of Beverly Hills. Armed to the teeth with all sorts of weapons and tools, the users mission is to fight their way through blows and cuts that will fill the screen with guts and blood. You can choose between six controllable characters, with whom will you unleash chaos in an already doomed world?
