Street Fighter 6 might be the game on most fighting game fans’ minds right now, but there’s another genre heavyweight to look forward to: Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8.

Lately, more details about the game have been revealed, and while a release date has yet to be announced, the publisher has already specified a release window.

During its last quarterly meeting with investors, when asked about the games that Bandai Namco has planned for the next fiscal year – which runs from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 – the publisher confirmed that in addition to Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, also hopes to release Tekken 8 during this time.

The Japanese company made similar statements in November last year, when it said that the fighting title could be released during the mentioned period.

Bandai Namco recently revealed a host of new details about Tekken 8. Along with confirming Nina Williams for its roster of fighters, the publisher talked about the removal of the Rage Drive mechanic, new control style especially for beginners, of the Heat system. and the ability to add restore netcode.

Tekken 8 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
