Valve has released a surprise update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that includes a collaboration with Denzel Curry.

The game company announced yesterday (Feb. 9) the “Revolution Case, Spy Sticker Mod, and (Curry) ULTIMATE Music Kit” in a post on its official blog.

As Dexerto points out, Music Kits are an in-game feature that a player can purchase to change the music in CS:GO. This includes songs playing in the main menu, round start and end, and killcam.

The latest package contains Curry’s tracks “Walkin”, “Ultimate” and other excerpts from his 2022 album “Melt My Eyez See Your Future”.

According to the announcement, the Revolution holster includes 17 community artist weapon finishes and the Clutch holster gloves as special rare items.

Valve is also shipping the Spy Sticker Capsule, featuring 21 unique stickers from Steam Workshop artists. Check out the images in the tweet below.

In a previous update last November, Valve made changes to some of CS:GO’s weapons, including the iconic sniper rifle, the AWP.

Weapon magazine size halved from 10 to 5. A pretty severe cut. A pretty severe cut, and it wasn’t the only weapon to be cut in this update, as the M4A1-S rifle became less effective at long range.

Late last year, esports announcer and host Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett was kicked out of a CS:GO tournament for allegedly vandalizing a television.

Denzel Curry’s Melt My Eyez See Your Future landed at number 22 on NME’s Top 50 Albums of 2022 list.
