The world continues to be shocked by images from Turkey and Syria. Both countries were victims of the earth shaking by the hand of a series of strong earthquakes which killed thousands of people. News that shocked the world and left us with heavy hearts.

The images also reached the artists. Many of them have turned to the cause, echoing what is happening and asking for help in obtaining funds to speed up the task of rescuing the victims.

Soraya Arnelas was one of the Spanish singers who wanted to share on her Instagram account the pain she felt see some images of this horrible event. In her Stories, Soraya uploaded a photo in which a dog appeared next to the rubble where its owner is trapped. An image that moves and that marked the artist.

Despite the fact that Soraya’s intention was good, the singer was the victim of a fake photo. And it is that the image, although it could perfectly belong to this earthquake, is from 2018 and does not belong to the event that occurred in Turkey and Syria this week. The photo used by Soraya comes from the Czech Jaroslav Noska and has nothing to do with the earthquake.

Soraya explodes against Instagram

In fact, it was the social network itself that decided to remove its content because it is false. An action that did not please Extremadura well. Additionally, Soraya blasted Instagram itself.

“I had to delete my last post about the Syria/Turkey earthquake because the photo of the dog I uploaded was not from that earthquake and Instagram blocked the content.he started writing next to the angry face emoji.

Then he continued to accuse the social network: “Let’s see if those on Instagram are also so quick to block the offensive people and content that we have to deal with every day. It seems like they don’t mind that much. What professional rigor!”. To close the message, Soraya put the famous poo emoji.

Soraya has been shocked since Monday by the horrific images coming out of Turkey and Syria. The artist wrote the following words on Twitter: “The images of the Turkey/Syria earthquake move you and plunge you to the bottom of your bowels… We are lucky to live on a daily basis. Lots of light for the whole population.”
