PUBG Studios is currently working on a pull-out shooter as confirmed.

As reported by The Loadout, in November PUBG publisher Krafton announced that a “new PvPvE looting shooter” was in the works under the codename Project BlackBudget. While details are scarce at the time, Krafton’s latest earnings report reveals that the game will have “ever-evolving open-world PvPvE and satisfying gunplay” that will create “unpredictable” experiences.

Krafton added that the BlackBudget project aims to “popularize the genre of extraction shooter based on [su] experience in PUBG production and services.”

The studio is still determining which platforms Project BlackBudget will launch on, but notes that it is “considering” a mobile version alongside the PC and console versions. In a statement sent to The Loadout, Krafton confirmed that PUBG Studios would be the developer for Project BlackBudget.

On the other hand, Krafton’s earnings report mentions three more games in the works. The first is a sequel to Subnautica which was confirmed in development last year. Now, Krafton has shared that the sequel will feature “bigger maps, creatures, and interactions” as well as an “augmented experience.”

Two other untitled games are also in development: Project GoldRush and Project Windless. While the former is an action-adventure sandbox “aimed at Western audiences”, the latter is a game based on the South Korean web novel The Bird That Drinks Tears.

As for PUBG, last month it received a major update which brought deadly weather, repairable gear, and powerful hidden loot for players to discover.

In other video game news, Nintendo also shared a preview of its upcoming games, including The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp.

The studio also released Metroid Prime Remastered and several Game Boy games for the Nintendo Switch.
