Kings League announces new leagues and explains format for 2023 and 2024: Queens League, Prince Cup and tournaments with other countries

During the last ChupChup Kingsthe pre-day program league of kings, Gerard Pique warming up (as he often does) and he told us about the new leagues and tournaments that are in the oven. With the exception of the Queens League, the rest of the projects are not yet closed and are subject to change, but at least the idea is already on the table.

Queen’s League

It will be a Kings League but girls, over 16 years old. It will start on May 6 and will be played on Saturday so as not to step on the Kings League. For now It has been confirmed that PIO FC, Porcinos FC and Ultimate Móstoles They will compete in the women’s league.

Having started later this year, it is expected that only one season will be played in 2023 and in 2024 it will have the same format as the men’s competition.

Prince Cup

And children’s tournament, which will be held in a whole week. The idea is that two tournaments are played during the year, in August and December. The ages will be 10 and 11 years old although it may be subject to change until the final format is closed. It will be played from Thursday to Sunday.

Final of finals and cup

By 2024, they want to do a tournament between the winners of each league from each country, by the end of the year. Faced with representatives of the Kings League from each country that has competition, a knockout tournament between the winners of this year’s seasons.

Leagues in other countries
