Since Disney bought 20th Century Fox and acquired the rights to iconic Marvel characters such as the X-Men or the Fantastic 4, audiences couldn’t contain their excitement and desire to finally see them with the Avengers. And after years of avoiding them in plots at all costs—their efforts to use the word “enhanced” instead of “mutants” or to hide the origin of Wanda and Pietro Maximoff as Magneto’s children didn’t go unnoticed —, they finally take their first steps in the MCU.
