Wednesday It has become one of the most-watched series in Netflix history. Fiction, based on the famous Addams Family character, fell in love with thousands of people around the world. And it is that Tim Burton has perfectly known how to create a series of adventures for the whole family.

But filming a series of these features is no easy task. But ask Jenna Ortegathe young woman who played Wednesday Addams in fiction and became one of today’s most acclaimed young stars.

Becoming Wednesday Addams was no easy task for Jenna. In fact, the actress had to learn some of the qualities that make Wednesday exceptional. These faculties include cello, archery, fencing and acrobatics. And it is that, although for several scenes Jenna has a double, in the close-ups she must appear realistic.

A very difficult shoot

Now, with three months elapsed since the show’s debut, Jenna Ortega told a Netflix get-together on Feb. 9 how hard it was to prepare for the role.

Jenna revealed that the shoots lasted between 12 and 14 hours. And it is that it was necessary to take advantage of the time spent in Romania, the place where the major part of the series was shot! Additionally, Jenna said she had to be two hours early on set to qualify for Wednesday.

But that wasn’t the only thing. At the end of filming, activities were still waiting for him at home. And it was that he had to learn some of the faculties of Wednesday!

“I had to go home and have a Zoom call for whatever class was playing at the time. Or go to my apartment and have my cello teacher already waiting for me”,

Jenna Ortega ended up crying on set

The 20-year-old confessed that the stress she was under ended up coming out somewhere. So, one day, while talking to his father by video call, he ends up crying inconsolably:

“I didn’t sleep at all and was constantly pulling my hair. There were a lot of FaceTime calls coming back to my father who was crying hysterically.”

But this demand was, in part, self-imposed. And it is that the actress did not want to use a lookalike for certain scenes at the start:

“I pushed a lot to be as prepared as possible because I wanted them to be able to use myself, because it’s so much more believable.”

In the end, luckily for Jenna’s health, the team decided to use a stunt double for some of the more complicated scenes.
