Glendale (United States), 11 Feb. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs took advantage of this Saturday to finalize the final preparations before the Super Bowl which will be played on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale (Arizona, USA).

Andy Reid, the Chiefs coach, and Nick Sirianni, the Eagles coach, held very light and gentle training sessions in which they focused primarily on strengthening the mental and tactical aspect of their players.

“Let them be themselves.”

That’s the advice Reid gave his Chiefs players on the eve of the Finals, according to the Super Bowl reporter pool.

“They don’t need to be anything more or less. Go ahead and be yourself. That’s what it’s really about and that’s what they’ll do. .”

For his part, Sirianni urged his Philadelphians to calm down on Saturday about what awaits them on Sunday.

“We know tomorrow will be a long day. So relax,” he said.

However, Sirianni used 45 minutes on Saturday to review some tactical aspects with his players.

“We have a list of situations where we keep adding (games) and we keep saying, ‘We need to review this, we need to review this,'” he said.

“Anything can pop up (in the game). We’ve been doing this for 20 weeks and some (situations) haven’t popped up yet. Others have. It’s just a matter of studying the videos, adding to your situations, to try to improve,” he added. .

For his part, Reid was “happy” that his Kansas City players “had this opportunity” to win a Super Bowl.

“It’s special. Playing a Super Bowl. It’s a great opportunity that doesn’t happen very often,” he said.

Both teams will enter tomorrow’s game unscathed except for Britain Covey, who remains doubtful in the Eagles for Sunday’s final with a hamstring injury.

Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, MVP of this season and who seems to have recovered from his ankle problems, the Chiefs will play their third Super Bowl in four years and will try to repeat the success of 2020, when they took the ring .

For their part, the Eagles of young quarterback Jalen Hurts will be aiming for the second NFL title for the Philadelphia franchise after the 2018 triumph with which they inaugurated their record. EFE
