In the municipality of Zumpango, State of Mexico, security cameras captured the moment when Jorge “N” and Alejandro “N”, father and son, stabbed and beat a dog named Black.
“In a bloodthirsty and cowardly act, they kicked, beat and stabbed Negro, a community dog that accompanies the guards of a Zumpango subdivision on their patrols,” the organization Patitas World denounced, who shared the video via Twitter.
In statements to Infobae Mexico, Norma Huerta, director of this animal rights association, explained that the events occurred on Sunday, April 18, at the entrance to the Castalias gardens subdivision.
The recording shows how a neighborhood guard tried to defend the dog, protecting it with his body. Minutes later, a woman also intervened, but the attackers hit her twice in the face.

Those responsible for the attack also live in the Jardines de Castalias subdivision. They allegedly beat Black because he had confronted his pets when they were walking around the neighborhood.
“They took their dogs out for a walk, and the dogs approached Negro. He growled at them or attacked them. So these guys brought their dogs into their home, and they came out armed with knives.” Norma recounted.

The protector filed a complaint for a crime of animal abuse.

“He is not aggressive at all. He gets along very well with other dogs, which makes me think they already had a grudge between them. He is so noble that even in the video he is stabbed and does not defend himself. It doesn’t bite or anything. He’s a good-natured big man. It allows the doctors to handle it very well even with its pain and discomfort”, he indicated.
For its part, the Zumpango City Council condemned what happened and was against “any act of animal abuse”: “The Directorate of Animal Welfare, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, will immediately begin an investigation to follow up on this case,” it said. Also, he invited the vigilantes to denounce the aggression.
In social networks, the case went viral and generated great outrage. And it is that it occurs only days after the murder of “Rodolfo corazón”, another community dog who was hacked to death in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

“But what the hell is happening to society? Yet another act of violence against a dog. Those responsible must pay and be punished. Authorities please, we need intervention and immediate action”, said Elsyloutre.
“The classic neighborhood gandallas know NO limits. Apart from being psychopaths in the making, they are a danger to society”, added rkastrejon.
Mundo Patitas has already filed a complaint for animal abuse with the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico. When Negro recovers, he will be put up for responsible adoption.
