Pandemic: Inspection task force continues to operate during Carnival

Between the night of Friday (12) and the dawn of this Saturday (13), the task force composed of the Municipal Civil Defense, Military Brigade and Health Surveillance, continued the work of inspecting commercial establishments in Erechim.

The group has been working to combat non-compliance with the current state decree due to the pandemic moment caused by the new coronavirus. Also on Friday, the state government placed the Erechim region preliminarily on the Red Flag, due to the increase in the number of deaths and cases.

According to the Civil Defense coordinator, Ronaldo Manica, inquiries were made in approximately 17 locations. Denunciations made by the population regarding the agglomeration of people were also investigated.

The task force will continue to operate throughout the Carnival period and Manica calls for the collaboration of the entire population in this pandemic moment. “Wear a mask, apply alcohol gel and keep your distance, we are all tired of staying at home, but it is for the good of our families”, recalls the coordinator.

In the work carried out by the task force last weekend, three infraction and one interdiction notices were written.

Inspection numbers this Friday

Approximately 17 inspected establishments;

Five infraction notices;

Two notifications.
