La Matanza kiosk was assassinated in cold blood by a criminal who tried to steal his business.
A 45-year-old kiosk vendor was shot dead when a couple of armed criminals tried to rob him in his shop in the Buenos Aires town of Ramos Mejía, La Matanza.
Those accused of the murder of the kiosk in La Matanza later stole a vehicle and a motorcycle to flee, but were eventually arrested, police and judicial sources reported.
The episode occurred around 2 p.m. today when a man entered a kiosk located on Avenida de Mayo y Alvarado, in the commercial area of the aforementioned town of the La Matanza district , and killed its owner with at least one shot.
The victim, kiosquero of La Matanza , was identified as Robert Sabo, 45, died almost immediately after receiving the least shot in the head by the offender.
A witness to the event informed the police that he observed when a man left the premises and escaped in a black Ford Focus, which was stolen minutes before from a taxi driver who was in the area.
According to sources, in the middle of the escape the criminals collided with a tree at the intersection of Saavedra and Alvear de La Matanza streets , and later stole a motorcycle from a delivery man.
La Matanza police officers carried out a lockdown operation that ended with the arrest of those suspected of killing the kiosk on Avenida de Mayo and Rivadavia.
The criminals were identified as Leonardo Daniel Suárez (29), residing in the Federal Capital, and a 15-year-old adolescent, whose identity is reserved for being a minor, and Fuerte Apache, in Ciudadela.
“They are people who commit crimes outside the area of residence. The security cameras located the avenues through which they circulated, so the circuit they carried out was established and in 20 minutes they were caught ”, they assured.
Five cell phones, cash, a 22-caliber revolver with four intact sheaths and one served were found in the hands of the murderers at the La Matanza kiosk.

Pedro Sabo, Roberto’s father, assured that “they ruined his life” for him and his family and asked that the criminals “not go out anymore.” “I don’t know what we are going to do because we are full of criminals,” he said through tears.
