The 69th edition of the Miss Universe beauty pageant already has a premiere date this year. The Miss Universe Organization announced that the 69th edition of the important beauty pageant will be held in May in Florida with the participation of 67 candidates.
“The moment we’ve all been waiting for. The 69th edition of the Miss Universe is heading to Hollywood, Florida. The Miss Universe will be broadcast live around the world from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Sunday, May 16 at 8:00 PM ET,” announced the Miss Universe committee in a post on Instagram.
The last edition of the Miss Universe was held in December 2019 in the city of Atlanta with the triumph of the South African Zozibini Tunzi. Shortly after Tunzi’s coronation, the COVID-19 pandemic began worldwide, so the organizers of the beauty pageant decided to postpone the 2020 edition indefinitely as a preventive measure.
