The Florida Powerball lottery awarded a significant $286 million prize to a Jacksonville citizen who purchased the lucky ticket at a Circle K located at 721 Chaffee Road South.

So far the owner of the Quick Pick ticket, winner of the jackpot, has not come forward to claim his prize. Although doing so could require your anonymity and by law your decision should be respected.

The Florida Lottery said in a statement this past Monday that the lucky person has 60 days to present their ticket, however, the retail store will still receive a bonus commission of $ 100,000 for selling the prize-winning ticket.

Claiming the prize, the winner has the option to withdraw the entire amount of money in cash and at one time for which he would pay a good amount in taxes. The other option is to receive equal installments of money, annually, for the next 20 years. In this last way he would receive a greater amount as a whole.

The winning numbers for the Powerball on June 5 were 44 – 52 – 54 – 64 – 69 and the Powerball was 26.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday night at 11 p.m. ET, and the prize pool brings in $ 20 million.

Odds of winning the Powerball grand prize are 1 in 292,201,338. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday. Florida Lottery drawings are broadcast on 17 stations across the state and are available to view on their website, where winning numbers are also posted.
