I admit: before, I was one of those people who needed to buy a game the day it was released so as not to succumb to the terrible effects of FOMO; that psychological effect where your brain starts secreting anxiety hormones when you feel like you’re missing something if you don’t buy a game as soon as it comes out. But I traded this practice for a masterstroke: waiting a bit allows me to buy almost everything at a fairly reduced price, just like it just happened to me with Octopath Traveler 2.

The thing is Octopath Traveler 2 was released on February 24, 2023, but it’s already discounted to its historic minimum price on Amazon. It’s a pretty juicy offer and, since I’ve already taken advantage of it, I’ll leave you with all the details you need to know about it so you don’t miss this opportunity.

Is Octopath Traveler II worth it?

Octopath Traveler II will blow your mind if you’ve ever enjoyed the JRPG genre. But the fact is that this saga has something that sets it apart from the others: a 2.5-dimensional art style that makes all its virtues shine much more strongly. In addition, it corrects many errors in its sequel by offering a much deeper plot than the latter, according to commented on in their analyses. I leave you with a trailer of the game below.

What do you think of this Octopath Traveler II offer? I think it’s a good time to grab it both if you want to play it right now or if you want to save it to occupy some time in the summer; which is never a bad thing.
