Young people, some older than that with “cool” parents, walk briskly towards a candy bar made of metal scaffolding that barely lets a glimpse of what’s on the other side. We are in Palermo, near the Hipódromo de Buenos Aires. This is Biza’s first show and no one wants to miss it. He came out of his room and invited us into the living room. We cross the security checks and the huge door adorned with his authentic cap. The first words that come to mind are “but what barbarism it is! “. The lights remain off but you contemplate with astonishment that you have never seen so many screens together. I am told that nearly 2,000 square meters of screens have been installed. An absolute excess. “And that when it lights up?”

This is Biza’s first show and no one wants to miss it. He came out of his room and invited us into the living room.

I feel like I can’t wait. The 20,000 people who were lucky enough to get a ticket expect and perceive that the show exceeds their expectations. They are going to enjoy something more than the traditional experience expected of a live show. And indeed, it’s not going to be Biza’s first show, it’s “Biza’s fucking first show and it’s in Argentina”. They rush to take their places in a huge square surrounded by giant LED screens that promise a unique audiovisual scandal.

Faced with such excesses, we reflect on the reality of Shaving. What can you expect from a live music producer? Of an artist who creates with and for others? A guy who generously shows his back to his studio guests? Finally, we cleared up a few unknowns. Of course, the show is for its people. It is an act of generosity for his country, for his supporters.

“Come into the living room, I’ve already lit the grill and we’re starting with the barbecue.” The show begins, a weak bluish light lights up between a thick mist that envelops the dance floor. A burst of sound rotates rapidly around the entire periphery of the circle that makes up the room. The performance of the sound equipment is breathtaking. Press the accelerator and explode. Biza appears and behind him a huge robot that starts dancing. From then on, everything is an audiovisual mess of generosity towards its public. Pure spectacle at the height of a producer who claims to be an artist.

The staging of this show is impeccable, neat and exuberant. We could not expect less from the Argentine exponent of the generation that has recovered the Malvinas of music, that has ousted the untouchable Anglo-Saxon industry in the rankings of music platforms and that receives its baptism with a Live Tour ” del Biza” with the grandeur and remarkable generosity evident that disciplines a world-class music producer.
