With a week of Overwatch 2 gameplay, we’ve experienced it all. From absolute server failures due to DDoS attacks and connection saturation, to absurd specifications to unlock cosmetics. That’s not all, because, of course, some bugs are breaking the game completely. This time, it is about Bastion y Torbjörn two characters who broke games due to their special abilities.
Since Overwatch 1 we’ve been through dealing with an enemy Bastion. The terror of his special moves and everything he can do on the field made him too good of a hero; Blizzard has since leveled it up so we can compete against it with no issues. On this occasion, Overwatch 2, it turns out that he returned his power, in addition to a bug that made you win any game.
Bastion and Torbjörn are already causing problems in competitive Overwatch 2
Let’s start with the most serious, and we all already know Bastion’s “ultimate” ability, which consists of launching missiles like a mortar in the area, causing massive damage. Well, with this bug, you could fill the entire map with these missiles, making it impossible to dodge them, killing the entire opposing team. With Torbjörn it is much lighter, since it required practice to have perfect timing so that his ability lasts twice as long.
Overwatch 2 is suffering a lot at its launch, but this does not mean that it is a disaster, as it shows that the community is enjoying it a lot. Despite all the problems, the numbers of visits and players continue to increase and it is expected to be one of the most played games of this final semester of the year.
