It’s been about 3 weeks since it was announced that the anime “NieR Automata Ver 1.1a“, in charge of adapting the video game of the (almost) same name, he was temporarily out of tune due to the impact of COVID-19. And so it was: in the last three weeks there has not been a single episode of the anime in question, although fortunately today it was confirmed when the next episode will arriveand we must rejoice that it will take place this same month of February.

I think with the tweet it’s pretty clear, but just in case I write the following:
- The return to broadcast of the anime NieR Automata Ver 1.1a already has a date: February 18. Yes, Saturday next week.
- On another side, the anime will return immediately with episode 4. In these cases, it’s not strange how a production starts the broadcast from scratch, rerunning previous episodes and connecting later with new ones. Luckily, NieR Automata Ver 1.1a will come right back with a new episode.
- Is there a risk that an anime delay will finally be announced again? Honestly, it’s really hard to say at this point.. Personally, I would be surprised if in less than a month they had resolved all the issues, with or without COVID-19 involved, that forced an indefinite hiatus out of nowhere. What I mean by that is that it’s best not to assume 100% that the broadcast will be uninterrupted until the end.
Honestly, this is one of the best news anyone can give me on a Saturday. Let’s see, things as they are, working a weekend is not cool at all, but if at least we can write about how one of the animes I most wanted to see in 2023 is coming back in diffusion… well, so much the better, sincerely. Having said that, I hope that “NieR Automata Ver 1.1a” will come back in good condition and without rush, because it is a project that deserves it..
