Mendoza judge ordered release of father of three-year-old boy who was diagnosed with syphilis in a hospital in the city of the heras. Faced with the facts, Justice arrested the father of the baby this Thursday evening, after verifying that he and his partner suffered from the same sexually transmitted disease, as did their two young children. The man was apprehended as the only suspect in the case, charged with carrying out the alleged harassment.

A day later, with the expert’s conclusions, coroners they could not determine whether the injuries sustained by the minor were consistent with abuse and finally the justice ordered the release of the detainee.

Despite this, sources in the case pointed out that “This hypothesis has not yet been completely ruled out.so parental contact with minors has been banned, although they continue to be investigated.

The first person to be arrested was a neighbor of the family, also suspected of the alleged sexual assault on the child. However, the man was separated from the case after his negative serological test results were announced, according to data provided by telam.

In the past few hours, the 3-year-old boy and his sister -who remained under observation at the health center- were released and handed over to the executive of Mendoza, housed in a children’s home.

At the moment, the goal of the case is to investigate the reasons for the infection in minors and find out where the wounds found by doctors on the victim’s body came from. As explained by the prosecution, based on initial medical considerations, the minor could have been infected during pregnancy, known as vertical transmission, which occurs from mother to child, or through contact with blisters from disease and lack of hygiene.
