Today (February 10), the first trailer for Fast X was released.
The film is the tenth episode of the Fast & Furious series. And, of course, the protagonist is Dom Toretto (played by Vin Diesel). Dom and his family have outsmarted, outsmarted, and outsmarted every enemy in their path, cheating death multiple times. However, as the trailer for x fastthey will face their deadliest adversary yet, played by Jason Momoa.
In the trailer, Dom realizes that a terrifying threat is emerging from the darkness of the past. And that shadow is fueled by a bloody vengeance, bent on tearing this family apart and destroying everything Dom loved and everyone he loved.
The trailer opens with a scene we’re all used to: a Toretto “family meal.” However, things quickly turn sour and Dom’s domestic life with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and their son is cut short.
Dante (Momoa), the son of Fast Five villain Hernán Reyes, bursts onto the screen with full force (literally). And ever since Dom and his crew left his dad headless in that Brazilian truant, Dante’s been all about revenge.
As announced in the trailer, Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the Catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London, and from Portugal to Antarctica. Maybe even further.
In true Fast style, new allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his son (Leo Abelo Perry) is the ultimate target of Dante’s revenge.
The film is directed by Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans and The Incredible Hulk). Alongside Diesel and Momoa, fans of the Fast series will be able to see cast members again: Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.
