EA has begun production of a third-person, single-player Iron Man game.
The new action-adventure game is developed by EA Motive in collaboration with Marvel. The team, also responsible for the acclaimed Dead Space remake, revealed via Reddit that the project is officially underway.
“We have an amazing team at Motive who have started working on Iron Man and you can be sure they are in good hands!” read a post from the Dead Space development team.
According to Motive’s job page, the studio is currently looking for a Development Director, Senior Game Programmer, AI Programmer, and Audio Programmer for the game Iron Man, which would indicate that it is still in the early stages of development. development.
EA first announced the game in September last year, describing it as a “third-person action-adventure” with an “original narrative that draws on Iron Man’s rich history, channeling complexity, charisma and genius.” The creative persona of Tony Stark, allowing players to experience what it’s like to truly play as Iron Man.”
EA also noted that Motive’s Iron Man project is “the first of several new games” planned for the company’s collaboration with Marvel.
Game development is handled by Olivier Proulx, Guardians of the Galaxy Game Director, Eidos Montreal. “It’s an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to create a video game based on one of the most iconic superheroes in entertainment today,” said Proulx.

Proulx is joined on the project by Ian Frazier, creative director of EA’s Star Wars: Squadrons and lead designer of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Maëlenn Lumineau, who recently worked with Ubisoft as production manager on Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, will also work on Motive’s Iron Man game.
