The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a car. The incident happened around 7:24 a.m. tonight near Desert Inn and Tenaya streets.
According to the police statement, the motorcyclist was traveling east on Desert Inn Street when a car traveling west on the same street turned left onto Tenaya Street, causing a collision between the motorcyclist and the car.
The motorcyclist was taken to UMC Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and does not appear to be under the influence of alcohol.
This is an active investigation and further information is awaited by the authorities.
