Washington, February 11 Canada shot down an unknown flying object on Saturday that violated the country’s airspace, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced.

Fighter jets from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad), made up of the United States and Canada, shot down the object which was flying over Yucón, a territory in the northwest of the country.

“I have ordered the downing of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace,” Trudeau said on Twitter. EFE
