During the event Legends, the Suicide Squad embarked on a mission to capture Brimstone. During his pursuit to eliminate Brimstone, Blockbuster is killed. The Squad realized it was a suicide mission, but it was a success for Waller, who did not expect any of the members to survive.

While this seemed like heartbreaking news, it was good news for Amanda Waller, who decided the drug lord needed to be killed. The group’s acting leader at the time, Nightshade, wasn’t too amused by committing murder and told Waller that it wasn’t good justice.

Although no one really sleeps on the extinction of a drug trafficking organization, Amanda Waller’s action has once again caught the attention of the government. The team members who aided Waller on the mission, Poison Ivy, Deadshot, and Ravan, risked disobeying government orders if they remained associated with her.

Amanda Waller led a team of heroes called the Shadowhunters to defeat Eclipso, but it ended up being an absolute bloodbath. Almost all Shadowhunters have been killed by Eclipso, including Wildcat II, Doctor Mid-Nite, and Peacemaker. Even though the Phantom Stranger ended up trapping Eclipso’s soul, Waller should have investigated further to put together a stronger team to avoid such a large number of casualties.
