Shooting in Zapopan: they found weapons, uniforms and drugs in a safe house that would belong to the CJNG

On the afternoon of this Monday, April 19, 2021, residents of Zapopan they were surprised by a shooting in the Chapalita neighborhood, where several arrests were made and two houses were seized from organized crime.

In a successful coordinated action between the municipal police and the state police after a confrontation with members of organized crime, an important cell that operated in the metropolitan area of ​​Guadalajara was dismantled, reported the attorney general of the state of Jalisco, Gerardo Octavio Solís Gómez.

Staff from the local police station saw a group of people, with whom they exchanged shots. At the place, the army, the National Guard, as well as the state police.

A joint search for the aggressors was carried out, who they fled across the rooftops of different neighboring farms, and entered two homes on La Merced street.

In a video presented by the Prosecutor’s Office, they deprived a policeman of his liberty, whom they took away with the aim of fleeing. This item he was rescued by the rest of his teammates minutes later. However, in the exchange of bullets, two people died.

Apparently a woman opened the door of the home to the uniformed men and declared that everything was in order. While she was talking and distracting the officers, others subjects attempted to escape.

In the operation released six victims, identified as 36-year-old JJ, 38-year-old JC, 31-year-old MV, 18-year-old MM, 32-year-old AH, 46-year-old LL and unfortunately, in the area of ​​the events they found a deceased and unidentified person.

According to the information of the Prosecutor, there are currently 27 male detainees as a result of the operation. They are Juan T, Luis S, Cristián V and Puerto Vallarta; Aldo C, José A, Víctor L, Christopher R, Sergio R, Eric M, Gael A, Marco O, Israel V, César L, Miguel Ry Guillermo G from Guadalajara; Roberto J and Oscar G from Nayarit; Marco H from the State of Mexico, Brian N from CDMX; Carmelo C from Tepic; Francisco M from Michoacán; Jesús Q from Mazatlán; Juvenal S de Tlaquepaque; Eric F from Sinaloa; Javier R from Zacatecas Brandon C from Ciudad Guzmán and José R from Zapopan.

What’s more, four women were arrested: Alejandra S from Tepic, Deyanira J from Nayarit, Alexia from the State of Mexico and María H from Puerto Vallarta, in addition, a minor at the disposal of the MP and another who would have been shot dead.

People they are already available to the Public Ministry. According to the Prosecutor, the constitutional term expires the day after tomorrow, based on the corresponding calculations.

As a result of the operation, three males and one female under the age of 17 died, according to the facts. In addition, 102 casings were struck in the area of ​​the events.

Among the things seized are 62 cartridges, 17 ballistic vests, six motorcycles, 21 longwives, eight short weapons, 10 bags with green vegetables, seven tables with the legend of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel, two insured vehicles, two torches, a spell weapon, a kilogram of white powder , two exotic animals and several homemade Molotov cocktails.
