A dentist is the professional who takes care of our oral health. This February 9 is celebrated the Day of the Dentist in Mexico 2021 .
The celebration of Dentist Day in Mexico was established in May 2014, based on a decree of the Council of the Union, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
In countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, Dentistry Day is celebrated on October 3.
Although going to the dentist is not always a pleasant experience, it is important to recognize the work of these health professionals.

How much does a dentist earn in Mexico?
The dentistry began to be exercised in Mexico during the first half of the nineteenth century.
In 1841, the profession of dentist began to be regulated by the Superior Health Council.
In 1902, the first study plan for the career of Dental Surgeon was approved and two years later, in 1904, the National Dental Teaching Clinic was inaugurated, attached to the National School of Medicine.
