Arizona could not take advantage of the home and Kyler Murray did not have his best night when he was intercepted three times in the loss to Rams, now they are 10-3

The Arizona Cardinals received the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, to close the day of Week 14 of the NFL at State Farm Stadium before more than 64 thousand spectators.

With the game just underway and with 11 minutes remaining in the first quarter, kicker Matt Prater put the Arizona Cardinals ahead with a 53-yard field goal to put the score in 3-0 ahead for the desert.

But with 4:00 minutes to go to the end of the first quarter, Kyler Murray was intercepted to give the Rams good ground position.

For the second quarter, Matthew Stafford took advantage of possession and threw a touchdown pass into the hands of Odell Beckham Jr. for the Rams to take a 7-3 lead on the scoreboard.

With 7:23 on the clock the Rams continued to add on a 55-yard field goal from Matt Gay to make it 10-3.

But the Cardinals’ reaction came with a 41-yard pass from Kyler Murray to Christian Kirk and then capitalized on the touchdown on the ground. James Conner carried the ball a yard to make it 10-10.

But before going into halftime Matt Gay kicked a field goal again, this time from 35 yards to make the score 13-10.

In the final seconds before we went into halftime, Arizona tied the score with a 53-yard Matt Prater field goal to put the score at 13-13 momentarily.

AJ Green hit a career milestone tonight, surpassing 10,000 career receiving yards during the first half of the game.

As the third quarter started, Matthew Stafford threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Van Jefferson to increase Los Angeles’ lead 20-13.

With 1:00 pm left, Kyler Murray threw his second interception to put the Rams in good field position.

Stafford seized the opportunity and threw a scoring pass for Cooper Kupp to add and go 27-13 for the Rams.

In the fourth quarter, Arizona was looking to react and did so with an 8-yard pass from Kyler Murray to James Conner for the score and put the hostilities 27-20.

It was followed by one more field goal from Matt Gay with 7:20 time in the fourth quarter, to make it 30-20.

Kyler Murray connected with a pass of 47 with Christian Kirk but they could not capitalize, they settled for a field goal and time was consumed.

In the end, the Red Birds took the loss by a score of 30-23 and are 10-3 on the season. The next commitment will be next Sunday, December 19, visiting the Detroit Lions.
