More than 70% believe that it should be possible to edit tweets once they are published. Now that Musk is on the board, the edit button may be a reality.

Elon Musk loves Twitter so much that he is now part of the board of directors and its largest shareholder. The founder of SpaceX, Tesla and Neuralink acquired 9.2 percent of the platform and now, with this multi-million dollar move, his fortune goes even further than cars, brain chips and trips to Mars. Musk now plans to make “significant improvements” together with the Twitter team, which could include the much-requested edit button . Do we really need that button in our tweets? Wouldn’t it be better to learn to forgive ourselves and ourselves?

“I am excited to share with you that Elon Musk is joining our board of directors ! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our board. He is a passionate believer and also an intense critic of the service, which is exactly what we need on Twitter and in the boardroom to be stronger in the long run. Welcome Elon!”

Elon Musk immediately responded with his intentions:

“Excited to work with Parag and the Twitter board to make significant improvements in the coming months.”
