Turned into a personality of social networks, “La Mars” revealed a little about how she has been selling content on OnlyFans.

  • As of today, OnlyFans has more than 1.6 million content creators around the world.
  • An Axios report reveals that users spend up to 2.3 billion dollars buying content.
  • Currently, “La Mars” charges $9.9 a month for its content.

In an interview with Fran Hevia, Fer Gay and Tania Rincón, on Exa FM, La Mars, who became famous on YouTube a few years ago, told a little about her experience as a content creator on OnlyFans.

2020 was the year in which a significant number of digital platforms found an escape valve, a growth that positioned them in the preference of Internet users, which, to tell the truth, grew in spurts, due to the confinement caused by the pandemic.

Under this scenario, we can talk about three spaces that can be considered the winners of this period of health emergency: TikTok, Twitch and OnlyFans, the latter being noted for allowing the publication of explicit and intimate content.

Thus, from registering 300 thousand content creators before 2020, by 2021 the platform already had 1.6 million creators, figures that ultimately speak of the importance of OnlyFans as a space to generate profits.

On the other hand, according to what Axios mentions in one of its reports on the OnlyFans impact, in October of last year, the platform already registered more than 150 million subscribers worldwide, who would have spent about 2.3 billion Dollars; of that total, around 85 percent would have done so in content of a pornographic nature, which is the most popular.

Nowadays, it is not surprising that a large number of people move to OnlyFans as a way to generate income; even, it is already common to know cases where some personalities leave their professions to launch themselves as content creators on said platform.

This charges “La Mars” in OnlyFans and this is how her experience counts

A few years ago, on YouTube, a video began to attract the attention of users, as it showed a young woman talking about her decision to drop out of school. Some time later, “La Mars”, as she is known, became a kind of personality on social networks, but today the situation is different, since she is just another youtuber who joins the group of creators of OnlyFans.

Not long ago, Mars Aguirre began uploading explicit content on OnlyFans, where she also has a subscription plan for $9.99 per month (about 200 Mexican pesos).

Now, in an interview with Fran Hevia, Fer Gay and Tania Rincón, on Exa FM, “La Mars” recounted a bit of her experience as a creator of explicit content, assuring that, with just her feet, “I pay 50 percent of my rent.” Similarly, she hinted that, with the income she generates per month, she could even “retire”.

Previously, in an interview for the Ryan Hoffman (@DeBryanShow) podcast, “La Mars” revealed that the reason she entered OnlyFans was for money, stating that “any woman should sell content.”

We live in an era in which the profession of “Content Creator” is among the favorites of the new generations, thanks to the number of incentives they can receive in exchange for their content.

In this context, OnlyFans seems to be one of the users’ favorite platforms and, without a doubt, a source of income that, as we have seen, exceeds unexpected limits.
