Caracas, February 10. Venezuela and Palestine exchanged their experiences on the international scene this Friday during a meeting between the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, and the Palestinian Ambassador accredited to the Caribbean country, Fadi Alzaben.

The information was released by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in a message on his Twitter account, in which he described the meeting as fraternal and ratified Venezuela’s support for the Palestinian cause.

“Fraternal meeting with the Palestinian ambassador to Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben, to exchange experiences, in addition to coordinating actions on the international scene, ratifying our recognition of the right of Palestine to become a free, sovereign and independent country”, has said the Minister of Foreign Affairs. . .

The manager, who shared photos from the meeting, did not detail what actions they coordinated during that meeting.

The ties between these countries were strengthened with the coming to power of the late President Hugo Chávez (1999-2013), a leader who formalized the establishment of relations with the opening of a Palestinian embassy in Caracas in April 2009. , a decision taken four months ago after severing ties with Israel due to an attack on occupied Gaza.

Last October, Palestine expressed its solidarity with Venezuela for the landslide that occurred earlier this month in the town of Las Tejerías, in the central area of ​​the country, and handed over donations of food and of goods to treat those affected by the natural disaster which claimed the lives of at least 54 people.
