Gimnasia (J) and Ferro shared the points 1-1

At the 23 de Agosto stadium, El Lobo and Ferro sealed a 1-1 draw in the duel for Argentina’s Zone B Date 1 – First National Championship 2023

The locals started to win with a goal from Fernando Brandán, from the penalty spot, in the 31st minute of the first half, while through Pablo Palacio the visitor equalized the game in the 63rd minute of the phase additoinal.

Pablo Palacio gave a great performance. Ferro’s midfielder scored 1 goal.

Fernando Brandán is another player who had a great game. The gymnast striker (J) shone by scoring 1 goal.

The match had several warnings: Fernando Barrientos, Patricio Boolsen, Kevin Vázquez, Pablo Palacio and Álvaro Cazula. Lucas Faggioli was sent off for a direct red card (36′, 2T) and Juan Manuel Sara for a direct red card (42′, 2T).

Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Sara’s side came out with a 4-3-3 tactical arrangement with Marcelo Miño under the three sticks; Hernán Grana, Patricio Boolsen, Pablo Alvarado and Martín Rodríguez in defense; Gastón Moreyra, Kevin Vázquez and Claudio Mosca in midfield; and Daniel Villalva, Ignacio Colombini and Nicolás Retamar in front.

Mario Ejarque was in charge of overseeing the order of play during the game.

The following day, El Lobo will face Aldosivi at home, while Ferro will face Quilmes as a visitor.
