Workers trapped in cranes after Glendale construction site collapse

At least three workers were left stranded on cranes when a structure collapsed at a construction site in Glendale on Wednesday.

The collapse of the metal structure was reported in a building under construction in the 1200 block of South Glendale Avenue.

Firefighters are trying to reach the three stranded workers, who are in baskets atop the outstretched arms of the cranes.

At least part of the structure fell on vehicles parked at the site. Details of the reason that led to the collapse of part of the building under construction were not disclosed.

No injuries were reported immediately.
