(Citizen Free Press) — A tornado watch is in effect until 4 pm ET for parts of Georgia and Alabama in the United States.
A thunderstorm in the Atlanta area produced a radar-confirmed tornado this morning, and additional thunderstorms could produce some tornadoes in this watch area until this afternoon.
This tornado wing includes Atlanta and Macon in Georgia and Montgomery in Alabama.
Hail of up to 2.5 cm and damaging winds of up to 112 km / h are also possible with some of these storms.
