The anime of “To your eternity”has a storyline that certainly sets it apart from the vast majority of productions that see the light of day in the industry today, something that has apparently helped it remain a considerably popular IP. So much so that it seems like this isn’t there too many doubts when it comes to greenlighting more branded content, because today ‘To Your Eternity’ Season 3 has been confirmed to be now completely official.

- Indeed, it has been confirmed that To Your Eternity will have an anime season 3 (via Manga Mogura). However, at this stage there is no release date information (although personally I’m betting fall of this year at the earliest, and we’ll most likely be in the first half of 2024).
- Along with the confirmation, it has also been predicted that what this anime season 3 will cover is what is called the ‘Modern Day’ or ‘New World’ arc, which is the second act of the story.
- And indeed, this way of referring to the next phase of history is precisely because, chronologically, To Your Eternity will shift to a contemporary era (In fact, we have to assume that’s why Fushi appears in the promotional image drinking what appears to be some kind of tea or natural drink from a plastic container).
It was pretty obvious that an anime like “To Your Eternity” was going to end up getting new anime seasons, though surely more than one this wasn’t supposed to happen from the same day the anime season 2 ends. Now you just have to be patient to see when more information is revealed about the next phase of Fushi’s story.
