Shooting in Baytown
Houston Texas. – One person killed and at least 14 injured was the result of a shooting in Baytown, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on his Twitter account.
It happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Market Loop where a woman was holding a vigil for her son, who was murdered at her home a couple of weeks ago.

The event was attended by about 50 people, and apparently an unknown person passed by in a vehicle and fired into the crowd while they launched balloons into the air.
All of the victims were taken to Baytown Methodist Hospital in Houston. Agents say they are working to gather more information about the alleged perpetrator.
