Bad news for Lewis Capaldi fans! british artist canceled his concerts in Madrid and Barcelona hours away from performing in the second city. As communicated Live Nation Spainthe artist will not be able to go on stage for medical reasons:
“ThereWe regret to inform you that for medical reasons Lewis Capaldi is forced to cancel his concerts in Barcelona and Madrid this weekend”
The news came just hours before the doors of Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi opened for fans to take their seats. But this is not the only date that the artist was forced to cancel.

Lewis Capaldi addressed his fans directly with a video explaining the situation and apologizing for the action he was forced to take.

“Hey buddy. I’m so sorry. I feel bad for letting everyone down. Especially so close to the gig. I wanted to see all the options, I had rested my voice, taken medication and seen a doctor several times since the last concert.”start by counting the interpreter of Someone you loved.
“A while ago I did the sound check and after giving him all the warmth I needed, I recognized that I wasn’t going to be able to do the gig and give everyone the night that he deserves”keep saying.
The British interpreter ends by apologizing again: “I am absolutely devastated and I am so sorry that so many people have already come to see me tonight.”
Faced with the anger of the fans (many of them were already waiting at the doors of the Catalan hall), Lewis explained the reasons which led him to cancel the concert so close to the start time:
“I woke up this morning and I thought that I could spend this night not to disappoint anyone, I assure you that the worst thing I could have done for my health and my conscience was not to rest and take a plane all the way here. For obvious reasons, I didn’t try to sing for an hour this morning.”

Concerts will be postponed
As the artist communicated on his social networks, these concerts will be postponed. Also those of Milan and Zurich, which I had in the following days.
