The film premiered in the Berlinale Special section of the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2023. Boksoon Must Die follows Gil Boksoon, a woman who leads a double life: she is the mother of a teenage daughter but, at the same time, she is also a legendary professional assassin to the top assassination agency, MK Ent.
