Music week was held in Hialeah’s Factory Town with fewer complaints, attracting over 35,000 people that weekend.

For the second year in a row, Factory Town, located at 4800 Northwest and 41st Street in Hialeah, hosted thousands of people during the Music Week Festival who enjoyed electronic music for 24 hours.

Esteban Bovo, Mayor of Hialeah, says, “In 4 days over the weekend, a total of 6 911 calls with noise complaints, two arrests and calls from the fire department were 12 people, in my opinion, this is not is perhaps not something that can alarm me.

Amansa Bonvecchio, architect of Factory Town. He says: “this year has been a success for us in 5 days we saw 40,000 people on the property and we employed 400 people”.

And it is that unlike several previous events in which the inhabitants of the area have complained of disturbing noise, the organizers claim to have implemented several measures to attenuate the noise.

“The first event they put on, we got a lot of calls, we sat down to let them know we couldn’t afford it, they made a lot of arrangements.”

The objective of this place, according to the organizers, is to create an entertainment concept that tells part of the history of the city that progresses in this old mattress factory.

The long-term project according to the architect is to create restaurants, bars and to continue to organize concerts.
