Albert Pino, 41, was shot last Friday around 7 p.m. northwest of 138th Street and 105th Avenue in Hialeah Gardens. His presumed killer has just been apprehended by the authorities after an intense search that spanned several counties in Florida and even the state of Texas.

The crime suspect, identified as Roberto Aveille Rodríguez, was wanted across the country as investigators believed he was going to escape across the Mexican border to reach Cuba.

But it was not necessary to continue the investigations, because in the last hours Rodríguez went to the office of the sheriff of the county of Hendry, in the state of Florida.

The victim’s family now hopes that the full weight of the law falls on the culprit.

“Justice for what he did because often a person does nothing wrong and they arrest him for a long time so when someone kills someone they put it back for good behavior (good behavior) I hope justice will be done”, asks Cristina Suero, a person close to the victim’s family.

Albert Pino “was a person who loved the sea because he liked tranquility, he had many friends, he was a good person, he didn’t joke with anyone and he liked being calm at home”; This is how Cristina Suero, a person close to Albert’s family, describes him.

“I know Albert’s mother. She and I are very good friends, we have known each other for 14 years,” says Cristina Suero, who still cannot believe what happened to the family who, devastated by the loss, have denied that Albert shot before being assassinated.

Rodríguez, 34, must now answer for the crime of second degree murder.
