Gerardo Bazúa won a legal dispute against Paulina Rubio for the paternity of her son

A year ago Gerardo Bazúa, Paulina Rubio’s ex-partner and father of her second child, filed a lawsuit against the singer and asked to be Eros’s legal father since he was not allowed to see his son. Yesterday Bazúa was officially granted paternity and Rubio will have to agree to joint custody of the child.

The legal conflict started because the former contestant of Mexico’s voice denounced that since 2019 I had only been able to see Eros for 20 minutes, this because the singer he had used his economic power to hide it, even committing actions that put the integrity of the child at risk.

Bazúa asked the court to be recognized as the biological and legal father of Eros in order to see him, but requesting that maintenance will not fall on himHe, since the income difference between him and the singer are very different, he also requested that Rubio will pay support, compensation and life insurance.

The singers never got married, so possibly Eros he never received his father’s last name and was not recognized as his son, this allowed Paulina to enjoy her full custody.

Finally, after several hearings, the judge in charge of the case determined on April 13 that Bazúa is the father of Eros and a confidentiality agreement was signed whereby no information has been disclosed on how the obligations as parents will be shared.

According to Wake up America, what is known is that the son of singers have as official residence the state of Florida, United States, and, like any minor, may not be taken to another country without the permission of both parents.

Gerardo confessed last year that he had separated from Rubio because the singer had had violent episodes against him in public places and he had never asked for help from the authorities because he believed it was something “very personal.”

“One day I had to eat on Ocean Drive, here in Miami, and she got up from her table and started hitting me and chased me through the streets to hit me. She did it, I left, I fled the place and she chased me to beat me, ” Bazúa said at a hearing in which he participated as a witness.

According to Bazán’s statements, the “Golden Girl” since her grave would have resorted to threats to keep him away from her sonHe even denounced that on one occasion policemen chased him when he tried to visit Eros.

The hearing in which the singer revealed the abuse of his ex-partner took place virtually and was an “emergency”, because the father of his other child, Nicolás “Colate” Vallejo Nájera, tried to take Andrea Nicolás to Spain and Rubio did not want to allow it, because he considered that the integrity of the child was being put at risk.

In April of last year Vallejo-Nágera appeared before court number 11 in Miami to request full custody of Andrea Nicolás, Paulina’s eldest son. According to the Spanish businessman, the minor lives in a “toxic and violent environment”, in which he suffers abuse by his mother, grandmother and uncle, for which he already presents symptoms of anxiety, nausea and vomiting.

Despite the fact that both parents of the children declared that the “Golden Girl” had never attacked their children or acted violent with them, they declared fear for the sanity of Andrea and Eros, because they always had to witness the ambruto changes of mood and the outbursts of anger of the singer.
