Two people were arrested by the California Highway Patrol in connection with the murder of 6-year-old Aiden Leos, who died after a road rage incident on Highway 55 in which multiple shots were fired from another car.
Aiden Leos was going to school with his mother on May 21. Until now, the identity of the suspects and their relationship to the events are unknown.
Until this Sunday there was a reward of almost $ 500,000 to find him or the suspects of shooting the car his mother was driving and who fled the scene. The money includes funds from the family, companies and Orange County officials.
Aiden was traveling with his mother when he was shot in the abdomen. I was on my way to kindergarten.
The shooting was due to a driving or road rage incident, investigators said.
The California Highway Patrol released a photo of a white Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon, possibly a 2018 or 2019 model, wanted in connection with the shooting.
