You can select multiple talents as you progress through Hogwarts Legacy, which will provide multiple passive benefits to your character as you play. These are extremely useful for making your character more powerful and giving you the ability to access unique abilities in and out of combat. This guide will cover the top 10 talents you can get at Hogwarts Legacy.

The 10 talents you need to get Hogwarts Legacy

Avada Kedavra Mastery

For those who regularly use the Avada Kedavra curse and regularly curse other enemies during battle, this is a great passive to add to your arsenal. You can only use the Avada Kedavra spell once in a while, and if you have it on your character, all cursed enemies also share the same spell as the person you hit with this attack, making it much more widespread and useful.

border domain

You will often be outnumbered in a fight while playing Hogwarts Legacy. As such, Confringo Mastery causes when you cast the spell on an opponent, several smaller fireballs shoot out from that enemy and seek out other enemies in the area. This is a good way to ensure that you can clear an area much more efficiently and fire effects will hit multiple enemies.

Glaceus Dominion

Glacius is another powerful spell that will stop enemies in their tracks for a short time. With Glacius Mastery, if you ever hit an enemy while stuck in Glacius, you can send ice shards to damage other nearby enemies. This forces you to be careful with spell placement, ensuring you hit a target close to other enemies for maximum effectiveness.

Headache

If you regularly use items in battle, Mandrake is extremely good at stunning enemies for a short time. However, the Headache talent makes these effects last longer, which is always useful when you’re in a fight.

human disguise

For those who like to regularly sneak around while playing Hogwarts Legacy, Human Demiguise makes it harder for enemies to locate you while you’re hiding. It never hurts to drop enemies and find the right location before starting a fight.

Imperial rule

The Empire Mastery is for those who actively use the Imperium curse in battle. When you use this curse, you will control an enemy for a short time. Imperio Mastery has it, so any enemies the controlled character hits with their spells will get the Curse status effect, which can be useful if you’re also using the Avada Kedavra Mastery talent.

Harmful

The Noxious talent has it, so when you use a poisonous tentacle in combat, this plant will deal bonus damage and break the shields of enemies it hits. This can be extremely effective, especially on the harder difficulties of Hogwarts Legacy, where enemies regularly use shields to protect themselves from spells.

Dominion of Pertrificus Totalus

Pertrificus Totalus Mastery is an effective talent to grab alongside Human Demiguise. This talent has it, so when you use Pertrificus Totalus on an unconscious enemy, it works on multiple nearby enemies, giving you a chance to take out multiple enemies at once, instead of just taking out a single target. We cannot recommend this talent highly enough.

Protego experience

Protego is a regularly used blocking spell that almost every Hogwarts Legacy player will use. With Protego Expertise, when you block a bit and land a Perfect Protego, you’ll fire two projectiles at enemies instead of one. So you need to make sure to cast a Perfect Protego counter, which can take a while to hit effectively.

The last talent we are going to recommend is Stupefy Mastery. This goes hand in hand with Protego Mastery, where an enemy hit by your Stupefy Charm will be stunned for a few more seconds. Each time you successfully counter an attack using Protego, your character triggers the Stupefy spell, stunning the targeted target. This is a great way to ensure you take out more enemies, and an enemy under these effects will take more damage, which is always a bonus.
