Stalker 2 is an RPG set in the exclusion zone, where monsters run rampant and humans can be friends and foes. You will have to find a way to survive in the region and at the same time unravel its mysteries. The scope of Stalker 2 seems huge and it could easily be one of the best PC games of this year once released.

After a break from new details, the E3 2021 trailer shows us lots of new information about Stalker 2, including a cameo from the series creator. The footage shows a scene of us sitting around a campfire, a resting place from the unforgiving and dangerous world. The campfire scene is integrated into the gameplay, including the nuclear power plant shootout, with many factions to befriend or eliminate, it seems that the fight will be difficult again as “variety of enemies using different tactics. (try) to make fun of you”.
We also get a first look at the Bloodsucker and an anomaly-infested area, where you can fire beams forward to spot those deadly rifts. The trailer shows a mix of horror, survival and action; Although we don’t know much about the story, the expanded open world adds survival mechanics, a life simulation system, and advanced AI. The developers have also confirmed that there will be mod support to give freedom to creative players.

Stalker 2 is set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, an area plagued by mutated creatures, warring factions, and strange anomalies. Stalker 2 revisits some of the same areas and locations as the first game; is an open-world game where you play as a lone stalker choosing paths to set a branching story, with multiple different endings. With an upgraded Detector, you can uncover hidden artifacts and secrets in dangerous places guarded by legendary mutants, including the returning Bloodsucker, with different subtypes for unpredictable behavior.
You can also adapt the loading of your weapon; There are over 30 different weapon types and mods that you can pick up and install along the way. Stalker prides itself on realism in a terrifying and thankfully unrealistic world, so expect its weapons to stay close to their real-world counterparts, with a few post-apocalyptic exceptions.
Stalker 2 Game Pass
Stalker 2 will launch on day one of Microsoft Game Pass, meaning anyone with an active subscription to the service can play the open-world game when it launches.
