Mark your calendars as Sony will air its State of Play live stream on September 13, 2022. It will air on YouTube and Twitch starting at 3:00 p.m. m. PST/6p. m. ITS T. According to the announcement via the PlayStation Blog, State of Play will be around 20 minutes long and feature 10 games for PS4, PS5, and PS VR2.

While the PlayStation Blog doesn’t mention what trailers will appear for this, it does state that it will have announcements from developers around the world and not just Japan. The last State of Play aired in June 2022 and some games that appeared during it include Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Street Fighter 6. Because the Tokyo Game Show is also just around the corner, no it’s unclear whether Sony is taking the opportunity to release its announcements before the show or has more in store for TGS proper.

Sony’s State of Play will air a few days before the Tokyo Game Show, which will take place from September 15, 2022. As it happens, there will be another major live stream on September 13 in addition to the State of Play. Nintendo will also broadcast a Nintendo Direct on September 13, 2022 starting at 7:00 a.m. m. PST/10:00 AM m. ITS T.
