PlayStation has received a new software version, numbered 23.01- The firmware improves console performance and eliminates incorrect display of the game library in some cases.

Sony today released a new firmware version for the PlayStation 5 console, numbered 23.01- It brings with it improvements in the performance of the device. Also fixes a known bug.

Most of the changes are not described, so they are mostly “below the surface” changes invisible to users which, according to the description, should lead to better performance of the Sony product.

The only solution described eliminates the malfunction of the game library.. This part of the device menu was incorrectly displayed on screen under certain conditions. Now the Japanese manufacturer has solved this problem.

The update weighs 1.1 GB. It will be automatically installed on the device.but impatient users can download it themselves from the PlayStation website. The link can be found here.

It should be noted that loading the new version involves restarting the device, but this should not damage the console or lose data.
