Norwegian esports organization Heroic has been on the ice a bit lately as the team has been clamoring for funding to stay afloat. The team published a new blog post about it, where they revealed that they had obtained a capital of 1 million dollars (10 million NOK) and therefore would not close their doors.
As part of the announcement, Heroic said it is grateful for the trust placed in the team and will work with its Board of Directors to continue to drive the organization’s agenda forward.
As for what this means for Heroic, the team said they expect a “An exciting season of esports entertainment, with great events for our organization, our fans and our strategic partners.”
