Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl received their 1.1.3 update this Wednesday, December 22 . Nintendo Switch players who own any of these editions can update their copy to the latest version, which fixes some of the problems encountered in its first few weeks on the market.
What does Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl update 1.1.3 improve?
Specifically, from the Japanese firm they point out that “some problems have been corrected” dedicated to making “the playable experience more pleasant”. The download only takes a few seconds to complete.
To update you must connect your Nintendo Switch to the internet. Return to the HOME menu (where the selection of your games appears) and click on the (+) button on your joy-con right above your Pokémon version. A menu will appear that includes Update among the options. As soon as the process is complete you will see that the recent version number has changed.
Free rewards in Pokémon Shimmering Diamond and Shimmering Pearl
Remember that from November 19 to February 21 you will find several gifts available through the Mystery Gift function. You can get the Platinum Set (cosmetics for your trainer) and a Manaphy Egg. On the other hand, there are other rewards if you have saved files from previous installments. If you have a game of Pokémon Sword and Shield, you will receive Jirachi, while a game of Pokémon Let’s Go will give you Mew. You will get both when you arrive at Pueblo Aromaflor, one of the enclaves that you will visit during the adventure. You will find an elderly couple on the right side of the entrance. It has no loss.
Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl are remakes of the Sinnoh region now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch. They will be the prelude to a relevant 2022 for the franchise. The next season already has a date: January 28 with Pokémon Legends: Arceus .
