Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was originally planned to hit the market at the beginning of the year. However, the war between Ukraine and Russia delayed this launch indefinitely. As we approach the end of the year, many are wondering where this remake is at. In this way, the Big N has broken the silence, and has finally given us an update on this installment.

Considering that a Nintendo Direct took place today, many were hoping that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp would finally receive a release date. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Thus, Stephen Totilo, a journalist from Axios, had the opportunity to speak with the Japanese company, and this is what they commented on:

“The launch has been delayed. We will announce the new date once it has been determined.”

Sadly, it seems that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is still a long way from reaching our hands, which is unfortunate for many gamers. Even so, Nintendo assures that this pair of remakes have not been canceled, so there is still the possibility that at some point in 2023 we will have the opportunity to enjoy these titles. Editor’s Note:

Although the war between Ukraine and Russia is still going on, the coverage of this event is not that great anymore, so Nintendo could well release Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp without a huge wave of criticism about it. I only hope that no more time passes before I have this package in my hands.
