Netflix continues to expand its anime offering. Not content with licensing great works of the medium, it was recently revealed that next October they will deliver us a new horror project, which has an interesting behind-the-scenes lineup.

Recently, Netflix shared the first trailer for Exception, a space horror anime, by Tatsunoko Production, creators of Meteor, and Studio 5, who collaborated on the creation of Attack on Titan. Along with this, Ryuichi Sakamoto, who won the Oscar for best composition for The Last Emperor movie, is also involved.

Best of all, Exception is coming to Netflix on October 13, perfect for this year’s Halloween. This is the description of the anime:

“In the distant future, humanity has been driven from Earth and forced to relocate its population to another galaxy. Members of an exploration team are sent to search for a suitable planet for terraforming. The crew was created through a biological 3D printer, but a system malfunction causes one of the crew members, Lewis, to emerge in a deformed state. As Lewis turns on his crewmates Nina, Mack, Patty and Oscar, he begins a countdown to the end of the mission in the terrifying darkness of the ship.”

Exception is coming to Netflix on October 13, 2022. In related topics, you can check out our Cyberpunk: Edgerunners review here. Likewise, those attending the Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 functions will receive a gift.
